BELIZE ZOO TOUR

The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center is located 47 kilometers west of Belize City on the Western Highway. Set in 12 hectares, the zoo was founded in 1983 by Sharon Matola. It is home to more than 175 animals of about 48 species, all native to Belize. This zoo claims to be the first of its kind; a zoo in which all the animals are in their natural habitats. The Belize Zoo may be small for this reason, but it provides the visitor with an authentic Belizean experience.

LAMANAI MAYA RUIN TOUR

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Lamani “submerged crocodile” Temples, ball-courts and museum. First, hop on to a boat for a sightseeing river ride, bird watching, then explore the Mask Temple, the High Temple and Jaguar temple and learn the history behind those sites from your guide. Take in the panoramic views of the plaza down below and the vibrant nature surrounding you, listening to the Howler Monkeys.

CAVE TUBING EXPLORATION

Enjoy a scenic drive from Belize City as you drive along one of the most historical highways in Belize. Your tour will then start with some walking, wading and tubing subterranean rivers that flow through ancient cave systems whilst viewing the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the cave decoration. Within these vast caverns, are incredible vistas of stalactites and stalagmites, some shaped like human and wildlife figures. Most famous are what appear to be the legendary Celestial Bird and Vision Serpent.

ACTUN TUNICHIL MUKNAL CAVE EXPLORATION

Join us as we explore the ancient Mayan underworld at Actun Tunichil Muknal. The ATM cave is not only beautiful geologically, with its crystalline stalactites and stalagmites, but also historically, as is a natural museum of ancient Mayan artifacts, as well as a sacred burial place. This is the final resting place of the “Crystal Maiden”, an ancient Mayan ceremonial victim. The hike includes three stream crossings. To access the cave, we swim across a small spring-fed pool with the assistance of a rope and wade into knee-high water into the dark underworld of the cave.

ALTUN HA MAYA RUIN TOUR

This magnificent ruin is located just about thirty-one miles north of Belize City. Learn about the ancient Mayan culture and about the Mayans that once lived there. Altun Ha was strategically located as a trading center, and the site covers an area of about twenty-five square miles, most still uncovered. Altun Ha was a wealthy ceremonial center boasting two main plazas, thirteen structures. Additionally, discover rich tombs which indicate that the ruling elite enjoyed access to substantial amounts of exotic goods.

XUNANTUNICH, ZIPLING TOUR, & CAVE TUBING

Zipline- After a 10-minute nature walk to the main platform, your guides will fit you in a harness and secure you to the main cable. There is a short trail to higher stations which includes a little hiking under towering cohune trees. Some lines are longer than others- leading up to 700 feet across the jungle. In addition, you will relax and sit back while enjoying the refreshing waters of beautiful Belize.  This tour presents you with surprises, adventure, wonders, and amazing views of Belizean nature.
